The Nintendo World Store formerly known as the Pokemon Center NY is going to have a Diamond and Pearl launch party. It doesn't look too bad either, lots of free goodies and fun games, if I lived in NY I'd be there in a heartbeat. You can read all about it on Pokemon.com.
